Michael Gibbons, a former Republican member and President Pro Tem of the Missouri Senate, is one of the most experienced and successful legislators that has served the people of Missouri, having served most of his adult life in local and state office, concluding as President Pro Tem of the Missouri Senate. He brings unparalleled experience in state and local government to benefit our clients. He served in elected office for over 22 years, first on the City Council in Kirkwood for six and a half years, then in the Missouri House of Representatives for eight years, and finally in the Missouri Senate (2001-2008). In each of these positions, he rose to leadership because of his common sense, conservative approach to solving complex problems. His journey in the Missouri General Assembly took him from almost dead last in seniority (number 160 out of 163 members in the minority party in 1993) to his election by the members of the Missouri Senate as President Pro Tem, the highest ranking legislator, in 2005-2006 and again in 2007-2008. Mike Gibbons knows how to solve complex problems, and he has the record to prove it. He brings his skills and knowledge to help our clients succeed in the turbulent world at the intersection of government, law, and politics.
